Read the clue, then tap or swipe across words in the paragraph to cross them out. Your goal is to remove all the extra words until only the hidden quote remains. When you think you've found it, tap 'Check Solution' to verify.

Yes! Simply tap on any crossed-out word to restore it. You can cross and uncross words as many times as you need.

Each puzzle has 3 hints that progressively reveal more about the quote. Tap the 'Hint' button to see the next hint. Use them wisely — they can help when you're stuck, but solving without hints feels more rewarding!

This shows you the complete solution by crossing out all the words that don't belong to the quote. It's there if you get completely stuck, but you won't get credit for solving the puzzle.

A new puzzle is released every day at midnight (your local time). Come back daily for a fresh challenge!

Yes! Use the puzzle navigation dots in the header or visit the Archive page to play any previously released puzzle.

Your progress is saved locally on your device. If you leave mid-puzzle, you can pick up right where you left off when you return. Your stats and completed puzzles are also saved locally.

After solving a puzzle, tap the 'Share' button to copy your results to the clipboard. You can then paste it into any app to share with friends — without spoiling the answer!

Yes! On desktop, use the sidebar settings to adjust font size, font family, and color theme. On mobile, access these options through the settings menu. We offer several themes including dark mode and accessibility-friendly fonts.
